ARMY SNIPER ASSOCIATION
MEMBERSHIP
Regular Membership
Applicants for regular membership in the Army Sniper Association must provide supporting documentation to prove eligibility. We perform membership vetting prior to approving every application. Membership is open to active duty, retired and former service members from all branches of the military. Additionally, we allow members of local, state and federal law enforcement agencies who have graduated from accredited sniper training courses to join.
We accept applicants that are graduates of the following Sniper Schools:
- U.S. Army Sniper School, Fort Benning Georgia
- NGMTC Sniper School, Arkansas (you must have completed both phases)
- SOTIC (Currently known as SFSC)
- USMC Scout Sniper Basic Course
- NSW Sniper School
- Accredited state or federal law enforcement sniper training courses
We do not accept applicants who submit the following credentials:
- Squad designated Marksman (SDM, LRM or DDM)
- Any certificates from courses that are run by a college or university
- Any certificates that are from a training company or range club
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
Applicants who do not meet the qualifications for regular membership may still join as associate members.
REGULAR Membership Benefits
Every new member will receive a welcome packet with a welcome letter, a certificate, a membership card, and an Army Sniper Association coin. Additionally, regular membership entitles you to the following:
If you suffer a qualifying emergency event you may qualify for assistance through the SSG Eric Caban Sniper Care Program
Your qualifying children will be eligible to apply for the SFC Earl S. Ellis Memorial Scholarship
You will have the opportunity to attend exclusive events, to include the annual Army Sniper Association Awards Banquet held in conjunction with the International Sniper Competition, the Annual Liberty Bell Shoot, The Gathering and numerous other events.
You will receive our newsletter, coupon codes, and updates on sniper community issues and events.
You will be a member of a community comprised of a small fraternity of unique warriors.
You will have access to our national network of members helping members
If you own a business, we will provide a link promoting your business in our member business directory

Applying for Membership in the Army Sniper Association:
The cost of membership is $120.00. This is for a lifetime membership. There are no additional fees or renewals.
Review the online application form carefully before you begin. It will be easier if you have all the necessary information before starting the process. You do not have the option to “Save and Continue Later” if you need to do it in more than one sitting, or are otherwise interrupted.
Your completed application will be reviewed and verified. Once a decision is made, you will be notified. The length of time between application submission and membership decision/notification of applicants will depend on the schedules of the Membership Review Team volunteers. Once your application has been approved you will be contacted by e-mail and provided with an invoice that will include a payment link.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION FOR REGULAR MEMBERSHIP:
FOR GRADUATES OF AN APPROVED MILITARY SNIPER SCHOOL: Provide a copy of graduation certificate and/or a copy of DD-214 that lists graduation from the approved Sniper School. (PDF or JPG)
FOR GRADUATES OF AN ACCREDITED STATE OR FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT SNIPER SCHOOL: Provide a copy of graduation certificate and/or a copy of Orders or Official Service Records that lists graduation from the approved Sniper School. (PDF or JPG)
